Ian MacKaye’s SG. On the kitchen table at Dischord..

This was one of the first Instruments that I photographed for my on going series Instrument.
I spent some time with Ian and the guitar at Dischord in 2001. Ian had some great stories about it. Read about them in my Instrument book.
I can tell you the guitar strap was the old seatbelt from a Fugazi van. It’s bolted to this guitar.
